I have been missing for a long while it looks like!  I can't believe my last post was on my mother's birthday which was 6 months ago!!  I have to admit I have had a photographic block here for the last little bit but my real absence is because my computer was broken!  I have not been able to get on my computer for the past couple of months.  I did have a labtop but I could only log into facebook and play games that was it.  So my dad fixed my computer two days ago so my computer is back in action but as of the moment I will not be doing any photography.  I have to get some other things in order first.  Thank you for understanding and thank you for my loyal readers and stalkers!

Today would have been my mother's birthday.  My mother passed away unexpectedly last year on October 20, 2012.  I miss her deeply.  I still can not grasp that it has been 6 months already.  Time flies so fast.  I love and miss you mom.

I have four of the girls finished and still working on the three girls I have left.  As soon as I get all of them edited I will be sending them out!  Thank you for your patience!

I had the greatest opportunity to shoot with some awesome photographers and models on April 20, 2013 in Knoxville!   Over the next couple of days I will be adding photos to my web site from the event.  I had so much fun!  Thank you Ronnie Plasencia for letting me be apart!  I can't wait for future events!

My absence:  I haven't been keeping up with my web site since March.  I had another death in the family and it's got me into a funk.  As many of you know I lost my mother back in October.  The death in the family was my uncle, my mom's brother.  It was also exactly 4 months and 29 days apart so it's hit me pretty hard.  Sorry I haven't been here.

It's April!  I love the month of April but also it's kinda sad.  My mom will have been gone 6 months on the 20th.  Her birthday is April 30 and will be an another sad time for me.  I'm trying to get out of this funk I have by getting myself back out there.  So on April 20th, mom's 6th month anniversary, I will be attending the Knoxville Shootout.  I'm looking for a female model that would like to join me there.  If your interested please send me an email to:  [email protected]

Hopefully some time soon it will be getting warmer! I am itching to do some photographs and I'm tired of being shut up in this house!  Who is with me? 

Nothing ever goes according to plans or well for me any way!  The other day the girls agreed for me to fix them all up pretty and let me photograph them.  (4:45 pm)  Started on Haley, doing her make-up which probably took about 30 minutes to 45 minutes, she wanted to look at her self ever 5 seconds.  Then we started doing her hair, her hair is so extra thin so it never wants to stay when you curl it but we managed.

Then Natalie had other plans.  Mom, can I please watch the rest of this show before you start?  "Natalie, are you serious?"  (5:45 pm)  Finally, the wait on Natalie was over and we started on her make-up.  "MOM, can I have something to eat?"  Haley I just did your make-up, your lip stick will come off if you eat now, why didn't you eat before we started? I dunno, mom.  Back to Natalie.  "Mom, can you do my eyes like this?"  I will try honey.  Get half way done, "Mom, I don't like it can you start over?"  UGH.   Wiping away the mess and starting again.  "Mom, I liked it how you had it before."  Natalie, you have got to be kidding me?  Finally finished with make up, now time for hair.  Mom, I don't like that curling iron do you have a smaller one?  Yes Natalie, I have to go find it.  Searching through all my beauty junk I never use I found the curling iron, now to plug it up and let it get warm.  Hair rolled and now finally finished.  Natalie is done!

7:45 pm - You guys can go play on the computer until I finish setting up.  Drag out my lighting equipment and something is not right.  Where are my stands?  Searching the house over, I know I brought them in, where did I put them?  Searching, searching, searching.  Oh NO!  The stands are in my car!  Hubby took my car to work!  Well, forget taking pictures tonight girls, daddy has my stands and my car.  Call up hubby to make sure they are in the car only to find out what I knew all along.  Well, why don't you take my car and come up here so we can switch?  Well, I didn't really think about it.

8:30 pm - Back home we came.  Mom can we get back on the computer while you finish?  Yes, you can.  Hurrying to finish as fast as I can to set up I come back to the kitchen where the girls are at, "Who's ready?"  (9:00 pm)  Mom, do we have to now?  We are tired.  Umm, what?  You don't have school tomorrow and you'd be playing games or watching tv any way.  Natalie can go first, no you go first, no you.  "Stop arguing!"  Natalie come on and get it over with so you can go back to playing the computer.  Ahh alright.

9:45 pm - Finally Natalie is done and on to Haley.  Haley, oh my, what has happened to your hair?  Back to the bathroom we go to fix the hair again.  Hair back in place now back to the living room.  Mom, I'm getting really tired.

Haley, I promise a couple more shots and you can go to bed, ok?  Ok, back to diva mode she goes.  After 10 minutes of a couple more shots we are done!  10:15 pm.  After 5 1/2 hours, I'm pooped!

The only picture I got of them two together with out fighting or being totally silly.  Cooperation was not in their vocabulary when placed together that night.

How do you like my new look?  I think I'm digging it but need some feed back.  I've been meaning to do this for a long time just never got around to actually sitting down and doing this.  Along with my web site, I have revamped my business paper work.  I'm so excited!
