As I'm laying here in bed this thought comes to me.  I'm going through a battle with myself so I'd thought I'd share.

I am a deep wound.  Every morn, I tear off the bandage and pick away leaving a bigger scar.  I pick and pick till night.  Every night I cover it back up and then when morn comes I rip open the bandage and start again.  I need to quit the cycle.  I need to heal.
